The Sheffield Libraries, Archives and Information ‘From my place to our space’ project seeks to engage young people in a range of creative actvities in libraries to explore their sense of identity and community. It is part of the Kids Can Do initiative to provide free out-of-school activities for 8-13 year olds.
This blog will keep you up to date with the progress of the project, inform you of upcoming events and activites and let you know how to get involved. We’ll post pictures and report back on how the events went.
If you attend an event or if you help organise it, you can leave us comments and share your thoughts. We encourage you to use this blog interactively, we’d love to hear your suggestions and ideas.
