The end of summer is nigh

Where has the summer gone? Almost back to school time, yikes. We’ve had a busy summer with plenty going on for 8-13 year olds.  If you went along to any of the activities, feel free to leave us a comment and let us know what you thought.

Our last activities of the summer take place at Highfield Library. Artist Joe Logan will run two workshops showing children how to create  comic characters. Please contact the library to book a place, you need to attend both workshops to complete your work.

We’ll put some pictures and feedback from the summer on here soon, so keep popping back. And we’ll soon have news of our programme of activities for the October to December period – please get in touch if you have any suggestions!

Crafty kids at Sheffield Libraries

Back in July artist Emilie Taylor ran two workshops at Firth Park Library and two at Stocksbridge Library to help local children capture their community in art and create a display for the libraries. Pop into the libraries to see what they have been up to – here are a few examples of their work….
